A bookmark app for writers: track your sources and find the quote you saved
Kajr is a bookmark app for writers who collect sources, quotes and reference articles. Share each one into a library on your phone, then ask “What did I save about remote work and loneliness?” and get an answer with the exact saves cited, so you can go back and quote or link the original.
Updated
Research you can trace
Writing well means being able to say where a claim came from. Because every Kajr answer cites the saves it used, you can move from an idea back to the original article, video or PDF to check, quote and link it.
Notes and highlights stay with the save
Notes and highlights live in the same library as the things they refer to, so your thinking is not scattered across a notes app and a bookmarks list.
From pile to outline
Ask what your saves say about a topic, which of them disagree, or which contain a statistic you could use. Treat the answer as the start of an outline and the cited saves as your source list, then read the originals before you write.
What Kajr will not do
Kajr is not a writing app and does not draft for you. Its summaries can miss context, so always check the original before you quote. Your library can sync to your own Google Drive and export to a file, Excel or a Chrome bookmarks file.
Questions you can ask Kajr
- What do my saves say about remote work and loneliness, and which article said what?
- Which of my saved articles disagree with each other about the four-day work week?
- Which saves contain statistics I could use in the intro?
- What sources have I saved about the history of the printing press?
Frequently asked questions
Can Kajr help me cite my sources?
Kajr shows which saves an answer came from, so you can find the original and cite it yourself. It does not format citations.
Does Kajr write for me?
No. It answers questions about what you saved. The writing stays yours.
Can I keep notes with a save?
Yes. Notes and highlights are part of your Kajr library alongside the saves they belong to.
